Regrouping, Recouping, Rejuvenating

Calm on the bounty last night at Occupy San Diego. For me it was a night of deep sleep that was needed. I have been volunteering many hours, because I am passionate about this movement. But if you do not take care of yourself, you cannot take care of others. When I woke this morning to see the invasion at OWS I can understand their frustration and exhaustion. We are playing a military game and always need to be on guard and regrouping, recouping and rejuvenating.

When we regroup we need to learn from what worked and did not work in the past. What tactics will we use this time. We need to sit down and discuss in a logical manner how to make this happen. We should give people 2-3min to voice their idea. Write these ideas down and then vote on the most effective and implement them immediately. Not keep talking about them. But taking action.

We need to recoup what we lost. This time we have more knowledge about rain preparedness, supplies needed, and what it takes to keep the occupations in existence. We are not going to recoup everything we lost, but we know we can create those things again and it will be easier. I have lost everything many times and I know it can be attained again. Never give up ever!

Each of us needs to rejuvenate our mind, body and souls. If we give give give, we do not take care of ourselves. You need to make sure you take a shower frequently and use effective personal hygiene. You need to step away from the insanity and calm the mind, doing whatever works for you. Take time to do something for you that makes you laugh and happy.

When we regroup, recoup and rejuvenate we will have a clearer view of the task at hand and ahead. This movement is a long journey and we need to make sure we have the energy to continue. Learn to say NO when you need to and don't feel bad. Thank you to all occupiers, donators and supporters of this evolutionary movement that will change the world.
