Occupy San Diego Occupies City Hall

We the 99% at Occupy San Diego, made another attempt, to convince San Diego city council members to put us on the agenda. It was a little smoother process yesterday in the chambers, but it feels like there is much ground to cover.

The meeting lasted until 5pm with lots of afternoon agenda items. Protesters speaking on behalf of Occupy San Diego were better prepared with presentation and speech time requirements. Tony Young, President of the city council, made a statement that his office is open on Fridays for public appointments.

It is obvious to the city council members we are not going away. Sooner or later they will need to put us on the agenda. By that time we will be well prepared to deliver facts and presentations on our behalf to support our proposals and convince the council and San Diego residents we have voices and our intelligent.
