Updated: I was told by witnesses last night, a woman cop, white with dark black hair was laughing loudly and childishly during the raid. After the raid the SDPD went and harassed the homeless people that sleep around Ace parking lot, where they staged their cars for thier ponzi-raid comdey night!

Another raid, at 2am, by 20 plus SDPD officers last night at civic center plaza. At least 7-12 people were arrested for illegal lodging. One person, Fish was arrested while videoing the event, for resisting arrest. Witnesses say the police roamed around the camp videoing an hour before they decided to use police laws and force to dismantle the occupation again.

Previous nights, 24/7 occupiers said the number of police officers, shrunk significantly and occupiers were sleeping without being harassed or arrested. SDPD officers seem to have a special entitlement, they are above the law. They make their own laws, or enforce the law when they deem appropriate. Sargent Casey Lawrence last night felt it was her superior duty to be the raid queen officer of the night.

Sargent Lawrence and SDPD officers that were working last night, met at the Ace Parking lot at Ash and 3rd st. They walked in a single file line down the narrow entrance towards Downtown Johnny Brown's and approached the Occupy camp. The eye witnesses of the event said the officers had specific people they were targeting. Claudia was one of them, along with Rebecca the artist, Fish and others.

All people I interviewed, claim they were never warned about this raid or were told to leave. When the police were at the scene, they never gave any warnings and read any ones rights to them. They just swooped people up and hauled them off. Who gave Sargent Casey Lawrence, the authority to implement this raid?

Occupy LA Not Going Anywhere, We Are Everywhere!

It is the morning of the 58^th day of Occupy Los Angeles. I am not physically at the occupation, but my heart still is. We were scheduled to go to a conference, which will lead to making a stronger network for all occupy cities. I know some people on the ground in Los Angeles are unhappy I left, not realizing I am of more use on the ground continuing to work and lend support, then I would be protesting and put in jail. Milliions of Dollars Wasted On High Paid Police Babysitters and Raid Officers

Something is terribly wrong with what is going on in America and around the world. People using their First Amendment Rights to voice their opinions, on the injustice within our government and the corporate world, are being arrested. People who recently lost their homes, jobs, cars and now live on the streets are being evicted from their street bedrooms and possibly arrested. Certain people are being discriminated against.

The cost of high paid police babysitters and raid officers, wearing fake badges has got to be in the millions, just in San Diego. The overtime being paid out to watch peaceful protesters is laughable. What on earth is going on? Is the 1% afraid of what they see and are paying police departments off? I believe so. But hey, the only thing this police state is creating is billions of sleeping giants ready to stand up and fight for their rights.

The Occupy protesters have every right to use their voices. They have every right to sleep on the streets if they have no home or all the shelters are full. The police officers also have rights in San Diego to uphold. It is mandatory for a police officer to ask if you have checked all shelters, before sleeping on the streets. Did they do that last night NO!. It is also mandatory that police officers give you advance notice to move from your area, before they arrest or demand you leave. Did police do that this morning NO!

What the San Diego Police department "High Paid Babysitters" did was show up at 2am and terrorize us like cowards, again. Why does this form of action need to happen in the wee hours of the morning when the world is sleeping? Why can't this happen during the day, when officers are wearing regular uniforms? We have not shown we have any weapons to harm them. They do it at 2am, so the news media cannot take photos or video to show the public. So we have no where to go. To me it is utter cowardly actions taken by men and women who pledged to uphold the constitution.

The Occupy will not DIE! We will stand strong and multiply like ants you can't get rid of. We are fed up with dictators, liars and the corrupt system we live in. If you think this movement is going away you are stupid. If you think you are inseparable, from having everything you own, taken away from you, you are stupid. It is going to get worse before it gets better. We will Occupy everywhere and we will prevail! America and the world the Occupy will not die it will only multiply.

Occupy San Diego Raided Again

At 2am this morning fellow brothers and sisters of Occupy San Diego began to yell raid raid raid. When I jumped up I did not see any cops. But within a minute they were lined up and surrounding our camp and my bed. In a panic mode I scrambled to put all my things in a bag and started walking. I realized I left a phone my friend gave me yesterday and went to retrieve it.

This time around, the police were a little more subdued, with an enormous amount of officers coming from all ways. The street was blocked off at Broadway and 3rd and also at Ash and 3rd. As of now, I hear there were 4 plus people arrested. Michael who was on the bull horn was arrested for excessive noise and then released.

Many people from the group went to the library and others headed to the harbor by the Star of India. Myself and four others walked together to the Star of India and found a few from our group there. When we arrived the harbor patrol was there with about 5 cars. They told us we could be there, but no blankets on the ground. The San Diego Police Department showed up periodically trying to intimidate us, but they do not have jurisdiction in the harbor.

Mayor Jean Quan's Legal Adviser Quits Over Clearing Of Occupy Oakland Camp

As a platoon of Oakland Police Department officers began clearing out Occupy Oakland's encampment for a second time at Frank Ogawa Plaza downtown, one of Mayor Jean Quan's advisers resigned in protest. Quan's legal adviser Dan Siegel announced his decision via Twitter early this morning.
