Signatures Submitted in Washington to Legalize Marijuana

As planned, the New Approach Washington campaign yesterday turned in over 340,000 signatures for Initiative 502 which will legalize and regulate marijuana. The initiative would allow people over 21 to buy and use small amounts of marijuana for personal use. It would also created a system of state-licensed stores and growers...

I believe marijuana is absolutely less harmful, than most over the counter and perscription drugs. It has less side effects and grows from the ground, where fruit trees, vegetables, herbs and many other things we consume daily grow. It is more tame than alcohol could ever be. Let's stop this drug war and the unnecessary arrests, that destroy lives.
